[ARCHIVED] COUNTY HIGHWAY MAINTENANCE ACTIVITIES FOR THE WEEK OF – AUGUST 28, 2017

County work crews will perform hot mix patching on CSAH 1 Monday between Little Pine Road and the Aitkin County Line, in Little Pine Township.

 

County work crews will perform spray patching on CR 148 and CR 144 between State Highway 6 and the county line in Oak Lawn and Long Lake Townships throughout the week.

 

Simultaneously County work crews will perform spray patching on CR 113 between CSAH 2 and CSAH 51 in Platte Lake Township throughout the week.

 

Maintenance work crews will be working on one travel lane and shoulder simultaneously, creating the need to close one lane of traffic. Signing, flaggers or portable traffic lights will control the traffic flow through these work areas.

 

Maintenance crews will patch potholes on various county roads later in the week. Crews will be pulling over and stopping frequently on the shoulders of the roads, to perform the patching work. Loose patching material debris may be present.

 

Ditch mowing will continue throughout the week on various county roads.

 

Motor graders will be smoothing gravel county roads Wednesday and Thursday.

 

All maintenance work is weather sensitive and is subject to delay or change.
