The current Solid Waste Management Plan (SWMP) expired on November 14, 2023. The County submitted a SWMP to the MPCA that proposes an integrated solid waste management system through the year 2033. The MPCA is accepting comments until March 4th, 2024.
Crow Wing County received a $30,000 grant to seal wells throughout the County. Wells sealed in Crow Wing County may be eligible for a 50% cost-share reimbursement. The County will provide up to a maximum of $1,000 in cost-share funds per well.
