The Crow Wing County Highway Department would like to remind residents that pushing snow from driveways across roadways or into public right of ways is prohibited by Minnesota State Statues.
Depositing snow and ice onto a public roadway can cause a hazard for motorists. Snow and ice deposited into public right of ways can be a hazard for snowmobiles and leaves less space for the snow removed from highways.
Please do not push snow and ice across roadways or into the public right of way. Instead, deposit it behind the shoulder line to help ensure public safety.
