[ARCHIVED] COUNTY HIGHWAY MAINTENANCE ACTIVITIES FOR THE WEEK OF – APRIL 1, 2019

Street sweeper


County maintenance crews will be addressing roadway water issues including frozen culverts and catch basins throughout the week.

County maintenance crews will begin crack sealing CSAH 3 (Fifty Lakes), 21 (St. Mathis) and CR 118 (Mission). This work will continue throughout the week.

Maintenance crews will be working in the drive lane and on the shoulders simultaneously, creating the need to close one or more lanes of traffic. Signing, flaggers or portable traffic lights will control the traffic flow through these work areas.

County maintenance crews will be patching potholes on various county roads throughout the week. Crews will be pulling over and stopping frequently on the shoulders of the roads, to perform the patching work. Loose patching material debris may be present.

Spring roadway sweeping is underway on various county roads throughout the county. Motorists should watch for the slow moving brooms when traveling county roads.

County snowplows are ready and on standby in the event of significant rain or snowfall in Crow Wing County.

Seasonal road load limit weight restrictions are in effect. All roads are posted and will be enforced.

All maintenance work is weather sensitive and is subject to delay or change.
