MILC Program Closeout
As of this date, legislation to extend the Milk Income Loss Contract (MILC) program beyond September 30, 2012 has not been enacted. For those dairy producers not already participating in the MILC Program, the application deadline to sign up for program benefits is September 30, 2012. Applications must be submitted to the county office where the dairy operation is physically located or the administrative county office by close of business Friday, September 28th, or postmarked no later than September 30th.
Production evidence and any supporting documentation, if not already submitted, for eligible months must be submitted by close of business, November 1, 2012.
