Applying for a New License
Required Forms
If you are applying for a new liquor license for your establishment complete the forms and submit them to our office along with the required fee, listed:
- Crow Wing County Application for Liquor License (PDF) / Background Application
- County On Sale Wine License Application (PDF)
- MN Workers' Compensation - Certificate of Compliance (PDF)
- State of MN License Applicant Information (PDF)
- Retailer's (Buyer) Card for Liquor of Wine Application (PDF)
- Request to Sell (PDF)Intoxicating Malt Liquor in Conjunction with On Sale 3.2 Percent Malt Liquor License and On Sale Wine License
- Liquor license Checklist (PDF)
All forms must be processed and a license issued prior to selling liquor
Fees
- Total fee for new application Wine License is $300
- Retailer's (Buyer) Card for liquor or wine $20
Required Approvals
Consent of town board: contact the Town Clerk immediately to be placed on the agenda. Town board approval is required on this form (PDF) prior to returning to us.
Upon receipt of all documents, our office will obtain the following approvals for you; please allow ample time:
- Sheriff
- Attorney
- Board of Commissioners
- State Liquor Control Board
Ordinance
If you meet the qualifications of the On Sale Wine License and On Sale Non-intoxicating Malt Liquor License to Sell Intoxicating Malt Liquor at On Sale Without Additional License (PDF) ordinance, our office must receive a written request separate from your On Sale Wine License Application.
