Drug Court Program & Its Phases

Phase I

  • Length of phase - minimum of 4 months
  • Obtain a chemical use assessment and follow the recommendations
  • Minimum of 2 UA / PBT tests per week
  • Minimum of 2 meetings with probation staff per week
  • Drug court attendance at least 2 times per month
  • Maintain 3 months of sanctionless participation

Phase II

  • Length of phase - minimum of 4 months
  • Minimum of 1 UA / PBT tests per week
  • Minimum of 2 meetings with probation staff per month
  • Drug Court attendance at least 2 times a month
  • Continued treatment
  • Education / employment plans
  • 3 months sanctionless participation

Phase III

  • Length of phase - minimum of 6 months
  • Minimum of 1 UA / PBT test per week
  • Minimum of 2 meetings with probation staff per month
  • Drug court attendance at least once per month
  • Maintain 6 months sanctionless participation
  • Education / employment plans

Phase IV

  • Length of phase - minimum of 4 months
  • Probation staff will schedule UA / PBT tests
  • Employment and/or education program
  • 4 months of sanctionless participation
  • Complete 30 hours community work service
  • Pay fee of $250 minimum or complete community service in lieu of the fee

Graduation

Recovery does not end at graduation: Recovery is a process that lasts a lifetime!
