Visitation

The Crow Wing County Jail offers non-contact, video visitation at our facility. The self-service Inmate Video Visitation System is hosted by TurnKey Corrections® as an interface for all public visits with inmates. This interface is accessible through a free account at Inmate Canteen.

All visitors must set up a visitation account in Inmate Canteen. To complete the visitation account setup, visitors will need the following:

  • A valid government-issued ID
  • Pass a warrant check and no-contact orders check
  • Submit a request for each inmate you wish to visit
    • Visitation requests take up to 24 hours for review. Visitors will be notified via email whether each request was approved or denied. Once approved, visitors will be granted access to initiate video visitations.

Visits may be done from any off-site computer or using the public kiosks in the jail lobby. The lobby kiosks are free, but Inmate Canteen charges a fee for all off-site visitation activity.
